Freedom fighter Hasan Mahmud Delwar, former Additional Secretary to the ministry of Home Affairs, died at a city hospital on Friday. He was 69.
Delwar left behind wife, two sons and a host of grand children, admirers and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He will be buried at his ancestral graveyard at Nila, Teknaf in Chittagong today.
Delwar is the son of late freedom fighter Amir Ali Master, founder president of Bangladesh Awami League, Teknaf Thana unit.
