Dr Naimul Haque (Shammi), Associate Professor of Respiratory Medicine, National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital died of cardiac arrest on December 12 last. He was 52.
He left behind his wife and other family members to mourn his death.
He was born in Shenbagh Upazila of Noakhali District in a Muslim family.
He started his service as a medical officer in Asthma center in 1995 and promoted as assistant professor in 2009 and as associate professor in 2013.
Asthma Association of Bangladesh has condoled the death of Naimul and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Family members of the deceased have requested all of his relatives, friends and admirers to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
