Former Director of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), Ali Akbar died of old-age complications at a city hospital on Saturday. He was 88.
Rotarian Akbar Ali, also a lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court, is survived by his wife, three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at Azimpur graveyard following a Namaz-e-Janaza held at Chhapra Mosque in the city after Asr prayers.
