Kazi Amanullah, Khulna Bureau Chief of Daily New Age, died of a heart attack at his residence in Khulna on Monday. He was 73.
Kazi left behind his wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Kazi also served as a news editor of Khulna based English daily the Tribune and former staff correspondent of the Daily Star.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Tutpara Central Boro Jame Mosque after Zohr prayers. Later, he was buried at Tutpara graveyard in the city.
