Valiant Freedom Fighter (FF) Gazi Rahmatullah (Dadu), Bir Pratik, died of old-age complications at his Sheikhpara residence in Khulna on Wednesday. He was 79.
He left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter and host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at Shaheed Hadis Park after he was given a state honour. People of all walks of life attended the janaza.
He was buried at his ancestral graveyard at Garaikhali village under Paikgachha upazila in Khulna after second namaz-e-janaza.
