Ajit Chandra Sarker, father of Deputy Police Commissioner of Tejgaon zone Biplob Kumar Sarker, died of old-age complications in the USA on June 11.
He was 73.
Ajit Chandra Sarker, former Principal of Kishorganj Govt. Women College, had been suffering from brain cancer and he was undergoing treatment at Mount Senai Hospital in New York for long.
He is survived by wife, three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
The funeral services for Ajit Chandra Sarker was held in the USA on Monday.
