Mozammel Huq Chowdhury, father of freedom fighter late Azizul Huq Chowdhury died due to old-age complications at Islami Bank Hospital in the city on April 25 last. He was 96.
He left behind three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his village home Mohanagar in Sitakunda after Namaz-e-Janaza.
A Doa Mahfil will be held today at his residence after Magrib Prayers. All the relatives, and admirers are requested to attend the Doa Mahfil and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
