Nazmul Hasan, former executive director of Bangladesh Bank (BB), died of a heart attack at Apollo Hospital in the city on Saturday morning. He was 66.
Nazmul left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at Banani Graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza at
Banani Mosque.
Governor of BB Dr Atiur Rahman expressed profound shock at the death of
Nazmul Hasan.
Atiur prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to the bereaved family.
