Valiant Freedom Fighter (FF) and former Director of non-government organization (NGO) Proshika Abdur Rob died of heart ailments at a hospital in the city in the early hours of Monday.
He was 66.
He left behind wife, two sons, one daughter, relatives, friends and a host of well wishers to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Mirpur Janata Housing Society Mosque after Zohr prayers.
