Dr Kazi Belayet Hossain, father of acting secretary to the ministry of youth and sports Kazi Akhtar Uddin, died of old-age ailments at his residence in the city’s Banasree early Thursday. He was 82.
He had been suffering form various old-age complications for long.
He is survived by his wife, six sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
