Noted Eye Specialist, senior consultant of National Cancer Institute and Research Hospital Dr M Tozammel Huq died of lung ailment early Tuesday at a city hospital, his family sources said. He was 60.
Huq, a veteran freedom fighter hails from Jhenaidah, left behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His Namaj-e-Janaza was held at the mosque at Uttara sector-3 after Zohr prayers and was buried at government graveyard at Uttara sector-4.
