Matiur Rahman, a valiant Freedom Fighter and retired inspector of PDB, died of old-age complications at his ancestral home in Manikganj on Saturday morning. He was 70.
He had been suffering from various diseases for long.
He left behind his wife, a son, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at the Seota graveyard with state honour following Namaz-e-Janaza held at Collectorate Jame Mosque in Manikganj after Zohr prayers.
