Freedom fighter Advocate Mizanur Rahman Rashid died at a hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday night. He was 64.
Rashid left behind wife, one daughter, a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at Katakhali Graveyard after namaz-e-janazas at Central Jame Mosque and the Eidgah maidan in Munshiganj.
Rashid was a Dhaka University correspondent of the now defunct the Dainik Azad and chief reporter of the Dainik Barta published from Rajshahi.
