O Level student Anuseka murder, probe report deferred again

A Dhaka court yesterday (Thursday) deferred the submission of the probe report in the case filed in connection with the rape and murder of an O Level student in Kalabagan area of the city. The new date is March 2.
Magistrate Begum Yasmin Ara of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka passed the order as the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case could not submit the report yesterday.
IO AFM Asaduzzaman said that the court that the DNA test of the lone accused was completed and they have been awaiting for the report. Besides, the Forensic Department have been requested to send the report soon.
Anuseka Noor Amin, 17, the victim was allegedly
“sexually assaulted and killed” on January 7, after she went to her friend Fardin Aftekhar Dihan’s house in Kalabagan area for group study, her father Al Amin alleged.
On January 13, a Dhaka court passed an order over testing whether Iftekha Fardin took any sexual stimulation medicine and drug before allegedly raping the schoolgirl who died later.
