Dr Tony Van Zijl, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Finance Management of Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Tuesday at the latter’s office.
Executive Director of Securities and Exchange Commission, Bangladesh and Ph D scholar of Victoria University of Wellington ATM Tariquzzaman was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed various bi-lateral issues specially possibilities of under-taking joint collaborative academic and research programs between the university of Dhaka and Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
They stressed the need for exchanging teachers, students and researches between the two universities.
