Trinamool Congress MP and Kolkata’s popular actress Nusrat Jahan’s father Shahjahan Khan has been diagnosed with coronavirus on April 13. Later, her mother and sister have been kept in the home quarantine following the government guidelines. They will remain at home for 14-days.
According to local media, Shahjahan Khan was taken to a private hospital in Kolkata with high fever and severe respiratory complications. His fluid samples were collected for a COVID 19 test. Later, the hospital confirmed the patient as having tested positive.
Nusrat previously reported that her father was a diabetic patient. He was admitted to the hospital with fever as the medicine was not working. After getting the test report, the actress is now worried about her father and family.
Doctors said that the treatment of coronavirus will be started soon after controlling his diabetes. Currently, his condition is stable.
