Opening ceremony of the T20 World Cup Cricket is scheduled to be held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today at 3:30pm.
Popular Bangladeshi host and model of present time Nusrat Faria has got the opportunity to host the inaugural ceremony of the international tournament.
The programme is scheduled to be held between 3:30pm and 10:00pm on March 13.
While sharing her feelings to host the opening ceremony of an international event Nusrat Faria told this correspondent, “For the first time in my life, I am going to host any inaugural ceremony of an international event. I am really excited in this regard. I don’t know what I would perform. But I am really confident to host the inaugural ceremony of T20 World Cup Cricket.”
Nusrat Faria is also excited because Oscar winner music composer AR Rahman will perform in same event where she will perform as a host. Therefore, Akon, Miles, Souls, Arnob, Sabina Yasmin, Runa Laila, Kumar Bishwajit, Momtaz, among others, will also perform in the inaugural ceremony of the event.
Nusrat also mentioned that though she will host the opening ceremony, Rahbar Khan will give English commentary from the background stage.
It may be mentioned that Nusrat Faria last performed as model in Mahfuz Ahmed directed television commercial Royal Tiger Energy Drink.
Not only this Nusrat has also performed as a model in a hair oil which was directed by Amitabh Reza.
