Country’s one of the talented film actresses of present generation and popular model and anchor Nusraat Faria Mazhar has completed 10 years of her career in the showbiz arena. In 2012, on April 23, she started her career in the showbiz as an anchor of a television show. After that she started to work as a radio jockey (RJ) and also started modelling. She also took part in stage shows as an anchor.
In 2015, Nusraat Faria started her career as an actress through the silver screen with the co-produced movie titled Aashiqui. Later, she acted in popular movies like Hero 420, Badsha – The Don and Boss 2. Since then she has been entertaining the viewers in the silver screen.
It is mentioned that Nusraat Faria is also very popular in Kolkata’s movies. Last February she finished shooting a new movie in Kolkata titled Rockstar opposite Kolkata’s popular actor Yash Dasgupta. Earlier this week the first poster of the movie was released. While talking about completing one decade of her career in showbiz, Nusraat Faria said, “If all goes well, the movie Rockstar is going to be released on Eid-ul-Azha and I am eagerly waiting for the release of this movie. I am really excited about Rockstar. My first look-poster will be released this week. In fact, the movie is very special to me. Because this is the first time I have worked with a hero like Yash Dasgupta in this movie. My chemistry with him on the screen was also a great achievement for me. Everyone on the set, including the director, praised our performances as a couple. We ourselves did the work with love. I myself am looking forward to see the movie. The biggest thing is that my understanding with the movie’s director Anshuman Pratyush was excellent. He had earlier been my assistant director in movies Boss-2, Badsha – The Don and Dhyatteriki, which made it easier for me to work with him as a team. I hope the viewers will enjoy his reflection on the screen.”
Basically the movie Rockstar is a thriller based romantic movie produced by Shapla Media International. It is noted that five movies starring Nusraat Faria are currently waiting to get release dates.
Apart from Rockstar, the other movies are: Bangabandhu’s biopic Mujib: The Making a Nation, Operation Sundarban, Dorr and Pataalghor.
Nusraat Faria will also start shooting for the film titled Bibaho Ovijaan-2 next June, the actress said.
