“Nurul Islam Memorial Trust Fund Scholarship” providing ceremony and certificate giving event to the students of ” Nurul Islam Memorial Computer Training Centre” were held at Dhaka University (DU).
Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman was present in the function held on Monday as the chief guest at the Fourth Class Employees’ Union office on the campus, said a DU press release.Dr Muhammad Samad, Pro-VC (Administration), Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, DU Treasurer and president of Md. Nurul Islam Memorial Trust Fund and Computer Training Centre, Poet Ruby Islam, member of the trustee board and wife of Nurul Islam were present as the special guests.
While addressing the programme, Prof Akhtaruzzaman said all the members of Dhaka University family have to work together upholding human consciousness. He also called upon to build a beautiful society through creating a beautiful environment at the university.
President of Dhaka University Fourth Class Employees’ Union Shahjahan also spoke on the occasion while General Secretary of the body Selim Mia conducted the programme.
