Former Mayor and President of city Awami League of Chitagong chapter ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury congratulated the newly- assigned Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Nurul Islam BSc.
In his press statement released in the media said Minister Nurul Islam will look over the welfare of the Bangladeshi expatriates aimed at increasing the remittances from abroad. He further said the new minister will look after the development of the port city in all respects. Former mayor said I hope Nurul Islam BSc will play dynamic role under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said PM has evaluated the
dedications of Nurul Islam towards partly as well as the country. Besides, former Mayor and the present elected Mayor congratulated the new minister of being nominated as a fullfledged minister, sources said.
