Professor Dr Deen Muhammad Nurul Haque, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), yesterday received Shaheed Dr Alim Chowdhuy Gold Medal for his outstanding contributions to Ophthalmology.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the gold medal at the inaugural session of 43rd annual conference of “Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh” at Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh here, said a press release.
Among others, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim and Health and Family Welfare Secretary Syed Monjurul Islam were present on the occasion.
