One nurse of emergency ward at Barisal Sher -e- Bangla Medical College Hospital was injured in attack of attendants after patient died allegedly delay in treatment on Tuesday evening.
Inured staff nurse Mustafizur Rahman admitted the hospital and agitated nurses observed 40-minute work abstention protesting the attack.
Police rushed to the spot detained three of the accused attackers named Imran of Dapdapia area, Rubel and Antar of KDC area of the city.
Shakhawat Hossain, Kotwali police station officer in charge, acknowledging the facts said one Liton of KDC area of the city brought to emergency ward of the hospital at about 5:15 PM Tuesday suspected as suffering from brain homerage.
