A nurse was allegedly raped by a staff of Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital (SSMCMH) in city’s Babubazar area on Friday.
The victim was identified as first year student of Nursing Institute in Babubazar area.
According to victim, one year ago she introduced with one Bidhan Chandra Roy. Since that source they fall in love each other. Bidhan has been raped her since last 10 months. But when she created pressure on him to get marry, Bidhan tried to avoid me. Finally as revenge he raped me in my residence.
Kaikobad Kaji, Sub-Inspector (Investigation) of Bangshal Police Station confirmed the news to the media and said we are trying to arrest accused Bidhan.
Victim was sent to DMCH for medical check-up.
