UNB, Narayanganj :Deputy Inspector General of Police (Dhaka Range) Mahfuzul Haque nuruzzaman on Wednesday said Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational Narayanganj seven-murder case, will be brought back to Bangladesh from India under legal process.He said this while talking to reporters after inspecting the security measures around different Puja Mandaps on Wednesday afternoon.Recently, an Indian court has ordered extradition of Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational Narayanganj seven-murder cases, to Bangladesh by December 15 next.Acting District and Session’s Judge of the North 24 Parganas district at Barasat in West Bengal passed the order on Friday withdrawing the case against him under Section 14 of the Indian Foreigners Act, Krishna Kumar Das, chief of news bureau of Kolkata-based daily Sangbad Protidin, told UNB on October 16.However, the court ordered continuation of the case against two other accused-Khan Sumon and Wahiduzzaman-who were arrested along with Nur Hossain from an apartment in Kolkata on June 14, 2014.On April 27, 2014, Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam, his three associates and driver were abducted by miscreants from Fatullah area of Narayanganj. Hours after their abduction, senior lawyer at district Judge’s Court Chandan Kumar Sarker and his driver were also abducted on their way to capital Dhaka.Three days into their abduction, the bodies of six people, including that of Nazrul and Chandan Kumar, were recovered from the Shitalakhya River on April 30 in the same year. The following day, the body of Jahangir, car driver of Nazrul Islam, was also recovered from the river.Nur Hossian, a Narayanganj city Awami League leader and also a councillor, and his associates remained absconding following the abduction and killing of the seven people.Shahidul Islam alias Shahid chairman, father-in-law of slain Nazrul Islam, alleged that some officials of elite force Rab killed Nazrul Islam in exchange for Tk 6 crore from city councillor Nur Hossain.
