Nur Hossain produced before West Bengal court again

Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational seven-murder case in Narayanganj, has been produced before a court in India`s West Bengal again. He was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate`s Court at Barasat of North 24 Pargana district in West Bengal at 9.30am (local time) on Monday after 14-day judicial custody. Public prosecutor (PP) of the court Bikash Ranjan Dey said that the police might submit chargesheet against Nur Hossain and his associate on Monday. But no bail appeal has been submitted to the court on behalf of Nur Hossain. He also said that Nur Hossain faces charges as an illegal intruder and his extradition depend on the two states (Bangladesh and India). Bangladesh government appealed through Interpol to bring back Nur Hossain home. The application was also filed with the case on 23 June, he added. Nur Hossain along with his two aids was arrested in a Kolkata apartment on June 14 for not having valid papers required for entering India. A fugitive, Nur Hossain stands prime accused for the gruesome abduction and killing of seven people including Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam and an advocate Chandan Sarker. The seven were abducted on April 27 and six of their bodies were found floating in the Shitalakkhya River on April 30 and the other one`s the nest day. Nazrul`s father-in-law Shahidul Islam claimed that Nur Hossain and some others paid elite force Rapid Action Battalion Tk 6 crore to get Nazrul killed.
