Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) signed a partnership agreement (MoA) with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on Tuesday.
Prof Dr A Y M Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust and Prof Zaid Bin Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Human Ecology, Universiti Putra Malaysia Signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions
Among others Prof Dr Shamsul Haque, Former Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr AW M Abdul Huq, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Anwarul Karim, Pro-VC, Lt. Col Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui (Retd), Registrar, Anwar Hussain, Treasurer, Maj (Retd) Chowdhury Md Abul Hasnat, Proctor, Abul Hossain, Additional Registrar, SM Firoz Ahmed, Additional Director FAD, Mr. Zillur Rahman, Director Overseas Programme and Collaboration and Prof Dr Kazi Sahadat Kabir Rimon, Head, Dept of Development and Governance Studies and Central for General Education from Northern University Bangladesh were present on the occasion.
From Universiti Putra Malaysia, Prof Dr Jayam Anak Jawan, Deputy Dean of graduate studies, FHE; Dr Mohd Kamil Yosuff, Director of UPM External Education; Mohammad Nazry Hisham, Administrative Officer, FHE were also present at the signing ceremony.
The partnership between NUB and UPM aims to meet the increasing demand for quality education offered by UPM for the students of Northern University Bangladesh and other prospective students for Masters and PhD Programme.
