NUB students get 100pc scholarship in China

About 100 students of Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) who got 100 percent scholarship from the Govt of China are going to China to complete their undergraduate at Nantong College of Science and Technology, China.
To celebrate this historic moment and to congratulate and give them farewell, a program was organized at Northern University Bangladesh recently.
Prof Dr Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust, was the chief guest of the program presided over by Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, NUB. Zha Mingewei, Cultural Attaché, Cultural section, China Embassy in Dhaka graced the occasion as the guest of honor. Prof Dr Anwarul Karim, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Md. Anwar Hussain, Treasurer, Lt Col Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui (Retd), Director, Development and Int’l Affairs, and Md. Rashidul Islam, Registrar, Northern University Bangladesh, were also present as guests.
Prof Dr Abu Yousuf MD. Abdullah mentioned in his speech that Bangladesh always has had a good relationship with the neighboring country, China. Day by day a strong commercial relationship between two countries is developing. China is now a great power in the economic sector of the world. Considering this, he emphasizes the necessity of learning Chinese language and asks all to be accustomed with the culture of China.
Among others, Deans of different faculties, Heads of different departments, coordinators, teachers, admin staffs and students were also present in the program.
