National University (NU) on Saturday postponed today’s (Sunday) all the examinations in view of cyclone Fani.
Faizul Karim, Acting Director of the National University’s Public Relations Office, told The New Nation that the university authorities took the decision in a emergency meeting considering the impact of Fani.
“A fresh schedule for tomorrow’s examinations will be announced later,” he said.
Earlier on Friday, the National University postponed all the examinations scheduled for Saturday citing “unavoidable circumstances”, in purview of the approaching Fani.
Meanwhile, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled to be held on Saturday has been deferred to May 14.
The fear is gone, as the severe cyclonic storm Fani has now been turned to a depression which was last located over Pabna-Tangail-Mymensingh region.
