Vice-Chancellor of National University (NU) Prof Dr Harun-or-Rashid on Wednesday asked college authorities to prepare lists of absent students and send these lists to NU authorities, parents and law enforcement agencies.
Against the backdrop of recent terrorist attacks on the Holey Artisan Bakery and near the Sholakia Eid Jamaat ground in Kishoreganj, the NU VC made some directives.
The directives include ensuring regular presence of students at classes, enhancing monitoring of guardians in case of private students and arranging of sports and cultural and extra-curriculum programmes.
