Campus Report :
The second convocation of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) was held recently. That day 2,263 students were recognized as graduates, 445 as postgraduates and post graduates diploma degree to 218 of 5th batches of this university. In this day, six students of graduates level were awarded Chancellor Gold Medal and four of postgraduates were awarded the Vice Chancellor Gold Medal. Those medal were awarded by The honorable President Md. Abdul Hamid, the Chancellor of the university.
Illumination had been going on for a few days. All the buildings including Administrative building, academic building, auditorium, student hall, freedom fighter sculpture, Shaheed Minar were decorated with light fountain.
The campus was as like as flower garden. Every roads and dirt of NSTU campus were covered by the graduates foot drop. University play ground, Shahid minar were boisterous with singing songs, playing acts, dancing, laughing and by gossiping.
Every graduates retreated their old golden memories of their previous campus life for a few moments. Day before they got their gown and busy at trialing to put on nicely. General students also should not miss the opportunity. They were taking photo shot with friends and celebrating themselves because no one wants to miss this magical moment.
Many of them brought their parents to share their special moments with them. They were excited with their beloved parents and joy in their eyes.
By throwing the cap towards the sky and took photograph as like as to touch the dream. Ending the two-days, the day of departures were appeared and all of them become emotional and teary. In this way, the convocations were started with full of excitement and joy but end in emotion and tears.
