Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) celebrated its Founding Anniversary amidst much enthusiasm and fun fare on Monday. A colourful procession was brought out in the campus on the occasion.
Later a discussion was held at Haji Mohammad Idris auditorium with Vice Chancellor Prof Md. Didar-ul-Alam in the chair. Local parliament member Ekramul Haque Chowdhury was present as the chief guest.
Ekramul Haque said the road in front of the university would be made four lanes while it will be connected with rail line for easy communication of the students, teachers and employees.
Former vice chancellor of the university Prof AKM Syedul Haque Chowdhury and Prof Abul Hossain, registrar of the university Prof Md. Mominul Haque spoke, among others, on the occasion.
