Praising the country’s political stability and investment-friendly atmosphere, Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) on Tuesday told President Abdu Hamid that they want to be Bangladesh’s development partners.
A delegation of British Bangladeshi Entrepreneurs, led by Mishbaur Rahman, chairman of Desh Foundation of UK, made a courtesy call on the President at Bangabhaban.
President’s press secretary Joynal Abdein briefed reporters after the meeting.
The delegation members said they are interested to invest here in various sectors, including tourism and ICT, and requested the President for the decentralisation of services so that the investors can avail themselves of the services easily.
Abdul Hamid said the present government is very sincere to extend all possible supports to the investors and urged the delegation to utilise Bangladesh’s investment potentials.
