NRBC Bank directors’ support to poor people

The directors of NRBC Bank Ltd have stood beside the destitute people of the society for celebrating the Eid-ul-Fitr.
Each family has been given Tk 2500 on behalf of the directors of the bank through the accounts of the distressed people, an official hand out said on Monday.
The bank account was opened against the name of the head of the family by scrutinizing their national identity card in the rural branch of the bank and some Tk 50 lakh was given during Eid ul Fitr. Over 2500 families have received this eid gift across the country, according to the press release.
The NRBC Bank’s directors are Parvez Tamal, Abu Bakr Chowdhury, Mohammed Nazim, AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Abu Mohammad Saidur Rahman, Rafikul Islam Mia Arzoo, Mohammed Adnan Imam, Loquit Ullah and Mohammed Oliur Rahman.
SM Parvez Tamal, Chairman of the bank, said, “The marginal people are critically affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. We have taken the initiative for them happy ahead of the Eid.”
“We have disbursed the money through bank account so that we can ensure transparency. NRBC Bank is committed to develop the standard of life of the marginal people,” he added.
