NRB Bank gets 2 bosses

Ali Ahmed and Imtiaz Ahmed have been elected as Risk Management Committee Chairman and Audit Committee Chairman of NRB Bank Limited respectively.
Board of Directors of the bank took the decision at its meeting held at its office in the city recently, said a press release.
Ali Ahmed is successful entrepreneur and businessman running his enterprises abroad. He is a British citizen. He has major contribution in remitting foreign currency in the county alongside different social welfare activities for the betterment of the society. Currently Mr. Ahmed is holding directorship of Mirravale Holdings Limited, BJ Brown Business Limited, AAB Estate Limited and AA Express Food Distribution Limited.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ahmed, a UK citizen and an NRB, was born in 1960 in Sylhet. He did his Masters in Social Science and obtained a Law degree from Dhaka University. After having moved to the UK for further education, he studied Law at the University of London. His growing interest in the philosophy of education led him to study for and obtain a PGCE from the University of East London. He has since been an educator in various London institutions, and led the Bangladeshi Achievement Project. He was also the Head of Bilingual Teachers in a borough council of London. Mr. Ahmed is enrolled as an advocate with the Bangladesh Supreme Court and a member of the Sylhet District Bar Association.
