National Productivity Organisation (NPO) will provide international standard Technical Expert Service (TES) at nominal prices to the state-owned and private industries for increasing their productivity.
This was revealed on Wednesday at the 13th Executive Committee Meeting of the National Productivity at Industries Ministry conference room in the city, said a press release.
Industries Secretary Muhammad Abdullah presided over the meeting while Additional Secretary of the ministry M Dabirul Islam, Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) Chairman Mizanur Rahman and NPO Director SM Asrafuzzsaman were present at the meeting.
The meeting was informed that Japan-based Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) will support the NPO to provide the services. In this regard, advertisement will be published in the national dailies soon.
Muhammad Abdullah said there is no alternative to productivity for building developed Bangladesh. “We will have to go forward to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through increasing productivity in all sectors,” he added.
