The National Productivity Organization (NPO) and the Bangladesh Society for Pharmaceutical Professionals (BSPP) on Tuesday signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for working together to increase the production of standard medicines.
Industries Secretary Muhammad Abdullah witnessed the event when NPO Director SM Ashrafuzamman and BSPP President Professor Istiak Mahmud signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at a function at the Industries Ministry in the city, said a press release.
Senior officials of the ministry and central leaders of the BSPP were also present at the signing ceremony.
Under the MoU, NPO and BSPP will jointly organised at least two Technical Service Programmes (TSPs) and two workshops every year.
