NOVOAIR goes international with flights to Yangon from tomorrow

NOVOAIR, one of the leading private airlines of the country, which has been operating on domestic routes for the last three years, will go international by operating flights to Yangon from tomorrow (Tuesday).
It is the first airline of the country to choose the Myanmar capital as an inaugural destination.
There will be three flights on Dhaka-Yangon-Dhaka route every week. The day are Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
The introductory promotional fare on the route has been fixed Tk 25,220, including all taxes. The state-of-art aircraft Embraer ERJ145 will operate the flights.
Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director, NOVOAIR said “Safety is always our first priority. We attach great importance to the maintenance of our equipments.”
“At the same time, we shall continue to develop our services to match any international standard,” he said.
He said “It is often seen in Bangladesh that airlines provide good service on the domestic sector, but once they start flying on international routes their domestic service gets downgraded. But we’ll not only expand internationally but continue to provide exceptional service in the domestic sector.”
NOVOAIR now operates domestic flight to and from Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet and Jessore. The airline hopes to operate flights to and from Syedpur, Rajshahi and Barisal also and two ATR 72s are expected to join the airline’s fleet by the end of this year.
