Novo Nordisk’s Ryzodeg® Intensification summit begins today

Novo Nordisk Bangladesh has decided to organise a summit on innovative treatment option for the better management and control of diabetes today (Friday), said a press release.
As part of its continuous effort to update the country’s renowned healthcare professionals, the company is organizing the summit.
The company, one of the first companies introduced insulin in Bangladesh, will organise the programme – Ryzodeg® Intensification Summit 2016 – at BRAC-CDM, Savar on Friday.
Prof A K Azad Khan, President of Diabetic Association of Bangladesh has given his consent to attend the event as the chief guest while Prof. Zafar Ahmed Latif, Director, BIRDEM academy will present as chairperson in different session of the summit.
Dr. Sanjay Kalra, Endocrinologist at Bharti Hospital, Karnal, India will be attending as the keynote speaker.
“Our focus is to develop world-class treatment options that address key challenges as well as the unmet needs faced by patients and clinicians. We develop new research molecules as part of our commitment towards this and make it available” said A Rajan Kumar, Managing Director, Novo Nordisk.
“To make available the best quality treatment options for patients in Bangladesh we have introduced Ryzodeg® in Bangladesh. It’s a simple intensification regimen without causing hypoglycaemia compared to conventional premix insulin,” Dr. Mohammad Saiful, Head of Marketing, Novo Nordisk.
