Novelist and juvenile litterateur Shammi Tultul has been awarded with National Poet Kazi Nazrul Agnibeena literary honour.
She has been honoured with the award recently at a programme held in the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad in the capital.
Nazrul Literary Studies and Research Institute, Agnibeena, Dhaka city unit, organized the programme.
Speakers at the programme praised Shammi Tultul for her outstanding literary work, especially in the field of novel and juvenile literature.
Parliament Member Kazi Rozi attended the programme as the Chief Guest while Poet Aslam Sany was in the chair.
