Nur Anwar Ronju is director of BTV’s first mega serial titled The Generation. Popular faces of the small screen Nova and Sohan Khan worked together under Ronju’s direction in BTV’s weekly play titled Tomai Gaan Shonabo.
Sadhona Ahmed wrote story of the play. Shooting of the play was done in different locations including BTV.
While talking about acting in the play Nova told this correspondent, “Earlier, under Ronju Bhai’s direction and production I worked in BTV’s different programmes including drama. He works in organised way. While giving direction any director works as a producer these must have scope to do good job which is happened in BTV. As a result, the play Tomai Gaan Shonabo has become a nice work. I hope viewers will enjoy the play where I played in role of Hridima.”
Director Nur Anwar Ronju shared his feelings by this way, “According to story, I selected Nova and Sohan as casts for the play Tomai Gaan Shonabo. Both of them acted well regarding their characters. I believe viewers will enjoy the play which will be telecast tonight on BTV as its weekly play at 9:30pm. Besides Nova and Sohan, Manosh Bandyopadhyay and Elora Gohor also acted in other roles in the play.”
Nova also informed that she has performed as a model in a TV commercial of a cosmetic under Sabrina Irin’s direction. It is Nova’s first TVC in New Year. In January 2017, Nova last performed as model in TVC.
Now Nova acted three serials The Generation, Pagla Hawa and Bhalobasha Karey Koi are being aired in different satellite channels.
On the other hand, Sohan acted now mentionable work is NTV’s drama serial Mr Tension directed by Adibashi Mizan. In big screen, Sohan last acted in Nargis Akter’s movie Joiboty Konnyar Mon.
