District Police in a special drive led by Additional S.P Shafiqul Islam at Shararchar area in Bajitpur Upazila on Friday midnight arrested a notorious criminal, arms trader, recovered an country- made Light Gun (LG) from his possession.
The arrested person are Farook Miah (27) son of Md. Missir Miah at Shararchar in Bajitpur upazila.
Bajitpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saifur Rahman Mujumder PPM told The New Nation, arrested Farook Miah is a listed arms trader and notorious criminal.
A case was filed in this connection with Bajitpur Police Station.
He was sent to Kishoreganj District Jail as per court order.
