He was awarded with many prizes including the Ragib-Rabia Award, London Award, Kaliproshad Award. Veteran writter Harun Akbar died of old-age complications on Saturday morning.
He was 62.
He was buried at Harat Shahjalal Dorgah Graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza at Dorgah after Juhar prayers. He left behind his wife, one daughters and two son a host of relatives, fans and well wishers to mourn his death. Akbar was born on June 30, 1952 at Dorgahpur in Moulovi Bazar district.
