North Zone-South Zone 4-day BCL match ends in a draw

The match between North Zone and South Zone of four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) ended in draw at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
South Zone resumed their first innings on the fourth day (Tuesday) with overnight score of 294 for 4 and finally all out for 448 in reply to a North Zone first innings total of 492.
Taijul Islam was the pick of North Zone bowler as he finished his spell with five for 136 runs. He was well supported by Shafiul Islam who bagged two wickets conceding 85 runs.
Back with 44 runs first innings lead, North Zone stared their second innings in the afternoon and scored 69 for 2 with Junaid Siddique and Naeem Islam were two unbeaten batsmen on the crease with 29 and 8 runs respectively.
Sohag Gazi and Nazmul Islam took one wicket each conceding 22 and 36 runs respectively.
Naeem Islam of North Zone was named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the match.
