Entertainment Report :
Cultural Affairs Minister and once popular face of the television screen Asaduzzaman Noor MP has been showing his keen interest to work in play of Bangladesh Television (BTV) for many days.
Earlier when he was Parliament Member he acted in TV plays. But this time when he got the responsibility of the Ministry he did not work. He is called only for attending talk shows in TV channels. In this case, he does not show his interest. While pointing out the
reason Noor told this correspondent, “My whole life I didn’t talk. In this stage of my life I have no interest to talk in talk shows. For the last few years I have been requesting the high officials of BTV that I am interested to work in BTV’s plays. After knowing my interest they felt encourage. But due to unknown reason, they did not call me to work in TV plays. I shall obviously work in BTV plays. It is not possible for me to work
in other channels’ plays because I have to manage more time for outdoor locations. But I can
manage time and work inside BTV quietly.”
As playwrights by whom Noor shows his interest to work are Momtaz Uddin Ahmed (now he is staying in Bangladesh), Mamunur Rashid, Masum Reza, Shakur Mazid, Brindaban Das, Pantho Shahriar.
