Noor leaves for Armenia

Minister for Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor left the capital on Thursday night for Armenia for participating in the 3rd international conference on ‘Cultural Policy, Policy for Culture: The Role of Culture in Sustainable Development in Post-2015 Agenda’.
The minister left at 9.30 pm for joining the conference in the Armenian capital Yerevan at the invitation of Cultural Minister of the Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan. The conference will be held from today to July 14.
The minister was accompanied by deputy secretary M Mafidur Rahman, cultural advisor of the ministry.
The international conference is being held in association with Armenian local UNESCO national commission marking the 70th founding anniversary of the UNESCO. The conference is being organized by the Armenian Cultural Ministry.
The conference will discuss on collection of cultural tradition of different nations of the world, collection of cultural tradition of national and minorities in context of armed conflict, to resist the devastation of cultural tradition and the problems related to cultural resources.
The main objective of the international conference is to look into the similarity of the cultural tradition of different countries and to form close relationship among various culture throughout the world.
At the conference, Asaduzzaman Noor will deliver his speech on ‘The Future of Culture, Culture of Future’ on July 13.
He is expected to return home on July 25.
