Students of 109 educational institutions were not among the 77.77 percent of those passed the SSC and its equivalent examinations, according to examination results published on Sunday.
Last year, the number of schools where no students passed was 93. However, in 2016, the number of school was 53.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said, “Last year we identified many institutions where no student passed. They might have improved this year. This year more schools have been added to the list.”
The number of students of these schools is very low. In a school, we found two students who sat for the examinations and both of them failed.”
