Non-signed QR coded ROR and DCR launched in e-Mutation

block

Staff Reporter :
QR code is embedded in the new format of Record of Rights (ROR/Khatiyan) and Duplicate Carbon Receipt (DCR) generated in the e-Mutation process. QR-coded DCRs and Khatiyan do not require a manual signature (directly by hand or embedded after scanning or photographing) of the Assistant Commissioner (Land) or Nazir.
Land services are being digitized to make land services pro-people. QR code (Quick Response Code/ 2D barcode) is embedded in the new format of Khatiyan and DCR prepared in the e-Mutation process. QR-coded DCRs and Khatiyan are equivalent to DCR and Khatiyan issued manually and legally valid, acceptable and usable in all aspects. After receiving the QR Coded DCR & Khatiyan, there is no need to collect manual DCR / Khatiyan from the Land Office.
One can easily check the validity of online DCR with QR code and online Khatiyan with QR code by scanning QR code by visiting the Land Service Platform (https://land.gov.bd) of the Ministry of Land or directly from the e-Mutation website (https://mutation.land.gov.bd). A circular in this regard has already been issued.
