Non-govt teachers want nationalization of edn instts

The National Teacher-Employee Co-ordination Committee on Saturday demanded nationalisation of non-government educational institutions before the budget for the fiscal 2018-19.
The committee warned of hectic movement across the country if their demand was not met.

 Asadul Haque said this at a press conference held in the VIP Lounge of the Jatiya Press Club on Saturday morning.
President of Bangladesh Shikkhak Samity Abu Bakar Siddique and its General Secretary Mohsin Reza, General Secretary of Technical College Teachers’ Association Mohammad Ali Chowdhury, President of Shikkhak Kormochari Federation Fakhruddin Jigar, teachers’ leaders MA Awal Siddique, Bilkis Jaman, Syed Zulfiker Alam, Md Azizul Islam and Abul Quashem were present in the press briefing, among others.
The teachers will observe human chains in all the districts on May 10 and submit memorandum to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. They will bring out procession and rally in all districts on June 26 to press home their demands.
If the government does not nationalise educational institutions they will announce their final programme after the next budget session.
