Non- govt teachers demand nationalization of jobs

Teachers of non-government educational institutions formed human chain on Wednesday to press home 7-point demands including job nationalisation
The programme organized by Bangladesh Shikkhak Samity , Barisal regional unit in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall of the city was presided over by regional president Dasgupta Ashish Kumar.
Among others Abdul Malek, Principal Faridul Alam Jahangir, Abdul Malek, Abdul Halim, Nazma Begum, addressed the programme.
The speakers criticized the discriminatory role of present government about the teachers and employees of non-government educational institutions.
Leaders of the organization said that education would never be standardized till the discriminations between government and non-government educational institutions would not be removed.
They vowed to start harder movement to realize their legitimate demands.
Addition to the demand of job-nationalization, their other demands included quick implementation of the National Education Policy 2010, Education Act 2013 and revision of manpower structure 2010, fixing retirement age of service to 65-year till the nationalisation and payment of retirement benefits within a year, increase of house rent, medical and festival allowances, time scale, annual increment equal as the government educational institutions.
After the rally they handed over a memorandum of those demands to the prime minister through the deputy commissioner Barisa.
