Second runner-up of Channel i-Sherakontho 2009 Nodi’s self-titled album was launched at a gala function held in the city’s Gulshan Club on Monday night. It is Nodi’s debut solo album.
Singers Hamin Ahmed, Biplob of Prometheus, Bappa Mazumder, Jazz Multimedia chief Abdul Aziz, music director Shawkat Ali Emon, Asif Akbar, Tahsan, Tareq AFM, Arfin Rumey, Protik Hasan, Rupom, Sabbir, Joy Kishore, Imran, model-actress Nusrat Faria, ad-maker Gazi Shuvro, parents of Nodi, among others, were present at the album launching ceremony.
There are 13 songs in the album where five are duet numbers. Besides music composition, Bappa Mazumder, Tahsan, Arfin Rumey, Tareq and Imran also contributed their vocals for the duet songs in the album.
However, Gazi Shuvro has already made three expensive music videos from the songs of Nodi’s album.
Nodi came into limelight to render a duet song with Tareq AFM in album Mugdhota.
